We are back with more agility fun and photography!

After a winter break from photography and some time for self-reflection, spring has brought a new "spring" to my step, and I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

I have signed up for the Embark Challenge, hoping to improve my photography and gain confidence in my work. I would love to be able to take images of all the dogs and provide their pawrents with unforgettable images of their Furbabies, but I feel I am not there yet. I know it's imposture syndrome, but we all go through it, and I feel practice will make progress for me. In the worst case, I get some great images of my pups.

I also renewed my membership to be an associate member of CAPDT. I plan to complete my dog training certification, but I am not "planning" to be a dog trainer, although someday I might want to train handlers in agility. We will see what the universe has in store for me.

For my pups, this will be a year when I focus on training them for agility, hopefully competing in our first jumpers with Skittles, and taking some great images for my walls.

Right now, I am cleaning up my new backyard, so it's ready for training with Skittles. We have some great agility coaches, and I'm excited to see what we can accomplish this year. It took her almost a year, but we finally got her on an A-frame. However, initially, she wouldn't even step over a pole, so we have made massive progress in a year. Her journey will be documented here, and I look forward to sharing videos from our training sessions.
